All types of bikes and all ages welcome! <home>

SAFETY FIRST!
PLEASE REVIEW THE SAFETY PAGE: we have successfully kept the ride accident free for more than three years, let's keep it this way. By watching out for others who haven't been on the ride before, reminding them that keeping it safe, and following the rules of the road, will mean keeping the ride police free! Any illegal or inconsiderate behavior benefits no one, and wrecks the ride as we know it, be cool and check your ego at the door.

What is the Cruiser Ride?
The Denver Cruisers are committed to fun! This is more than just a ride, it's a great way to meet people, and have lots of fun on a Wednesday night! We start at The Ginn Mill EVERY WEDNESDAY from May 14th to September 24th, and spend the evening cruising the streets of Downtown Denver.

Who are these cruisers?
A group of riders got together in May of 2005, and decided to ride together on a weekly basis... as it turns out, we've got a plethera of other bike fanatics that love riding! We have so much fun, this is a very social group of people.... we ride, we party... most of all we have FUN! There's so many great spots we visit... Starting from The Ginn Mill to the dreaded CIRCLE OF DEATH...

Do I need a cruiser bike?
No... as long as it's got pedals and a wheel (one rider a few years ago rode his unicyle)... there's no limit, or requirement other than coming with a bike... many riders dress up, wearing costumes to match the themed Rides each week. Last year: Goth Night, Dress Night, RED and well, we're gearing up for a bunch of new themes.... <here>

Where do we meet?
The Denver Cruisers meet at the The Ginn Mill at 2041 Larimer Street every wednesday at 7pm, until September 24th. Come once or come every week... it's a total blast, and once you get hooked, it's pretty difficult to stop riding!
As with the Boulder Cruisers, we agree:

Use Common Sense
Please obey all the traffic laws like you would in your car. The police should have better things to do than spend time with us - please help keep the ride police-free by policing yourself. Don't ride intoxicated! (duh!)
This is not The Booze Cruise or Critical Mass!
Please be cool and courteous to all.

Have Fun!
We are a friendly group without a political agenda. All bikes are welcome but don't expect a workout as we move at a one gear speed.

The Rules of the Denver Cruisers:
1st RULE: You do not talk about Denver Cruisers
2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about Denver Cruisers
3rd RULE: If someone runs a stop light or appears to be too wasted to ride, make sure they're ok.
4th RULE: Have fun every wednesday nite
5th RULE: No Drama. If you have an issue with someone - deal with them directly, don't gossip or run other cruisers down
6th RULE: Try to show up in a costume... be creative, innovative with your solutions
7th RULE: Rides will go on as long as they want to.
8th RULE: If this is your first night on the RIDE, you HAVE to have fun
